If black rubber belt is broken, it needs to be replaced!

Here is solution with much stronger transparent belt, and new plastic parts.

Standard FES connecting cable GEN2/3 is used on all those FES powered sailplanes with GEN2 or GEN3 packs, where there is sufficient space available above battery packs till cover. If there is not sufficient space then Low FES connecting cable is used.
