Latest generation FES GEN4 16S 56Ah Battery Packs suitable for 18m FES self-launch single-seat sailplanes like LAK17C FES.

This are GEN4 Battery Packs developed especially for FES application.
There are 16 cells blocks wired in serial (16S). In each cell block there is 20 cells wired in parallel (20P). Capacity of each cell block is 56Ah. A pair of battery packs is required in a standard FES system. First pack is marked as A and second pack as B.
We are using high power 18650 cells, produced by Molicel.
Each Battery pack is equipped with BMS (Battery Management System) circuit board, which monitors its operation. New GEN4 feature additional e-ink display – which indicates state of charge, and G-load sensor, which monitors potential mechanical abuse.
Note: Latest top cover are also equipped with foldable handels instead of standard belt as before.
