FES Connecting cable is used to connect Battery pack A and B during in serial to enable FES system operation, before the flight.

For FES GEN4 battery packs, transparent belt of GEN4 connecting cable is shorter compared to belt used GEN2 connecting cable.

With this update kit GEN2/3 connecting cable can be updated for usage with GEN4 battery packs.

Standard FES connecting cable is used on all those FES powered sailplanes, where there is a lot of space available above battery packs till cover. If there is not sufficient space then low FES connection cable is used.
